Our Story: Aurora's Journey
Aurora SwitchPro® was created to make makeup routines cleaner, easier, and more organized.
Founded by Darren Levy, a professional makeup artist with more than 20 years of experience in the movie and beauty industry, and his father, Dr. Frank Levy, Aurora SwitchPro® brings together real makeup experience with a physician’s understanding of hygiene and healthy habits.
The idea began with a simple problem: makeup brushes are used on the face every day, but they are often left loose in makeup bags, scattered on counters, or reused without being cleaned as often as they should be. Traditional brush collections can also be expensive, bulky, and hard to keep organized.
Aurora SwitchPro® was designed as a smarter solution.
With interchangeable brush tips and a built-in UV-C sanitizing case, Aurora SwitchPro® helps make cleaner brush habits part of the daily routine. The system is compact, portable, and easy to use, making it a great choice for teens, students, dancers, travelers, busy parents, and anyone who wants a more organized approach to makeup.
Our goal is simple: to help makeup users enjoy the beauty routine they love while making brush care easier to remember and easier to maintain.

"The movie business has been a family tradition for me. My grandmother worked in the movies, styling the hair of famous stars, such as; Marlo Thomas, Danny Thomas, Woody Allen, and many more. Her daughter, my mother, followed in her footsteps and is currently working on a popular cable network series. It was natural that I would follow in their footsteps and pursue a career in movie makeup. I got my foundation and learned my craft in Lincolnshire England and returned back to the States to begin my career. After years of working in the movie industry, it became clear that cleaning the brushes between each of the artists became a chore. There had to be a better way of managing all of the brushes needed."
